Difference between "On" and "In
1. Use "in" for written material.
(books, magazines, articles, newspapers, etc.)
Examples
I read it IN a book.
She found the article IN a magazine.
2. Use "on" for electronics.
(the radio, the Internet, the telephone, television)
Examples
We listened to a play ON the radio.
What did you see ON television last night?
